Nissan Rolls Out First Africa-Made Magnite in Egypt

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly inaugurated a new production line at Nissan Egypt's plant in October 6 City, with investments worth $45 million. The new line will produce the Nissan Magnite, as the company continues to expand its manufacturing operations in the Egyptian market. Mohamed Abdel Samad, Managing Director of Nissan Africa, said Nissan's total investments in Egypt have reached around $276 million. Abdel Samad said Nissan aims to raise its annual production capacity to 50,000 vehicles in the coming years, up from the current 30,000.
