Morocco New Car Market Goes From Strength To Strength

Driven by a sharp upturn in demand, the Moroccan automotive market experienced a spectacular uptick in September 2025. According to AIVAM, total sales for the month stood at 20,264 units, up 40.74% compared to September 2024 (14,398 units).

The passenger vehicle (PV) segment is driving the momentum. With 17,980 registrations in September, it increased by 41.75% compared to the 12,684 units sold a year earlier. Light commercial vehicles (LCVs) followed the same upward trend, up 33.26%, from 1,714 to 2,284 units.

The strength observed in September consolidates the annual trajectory. Cumulatively, through the end of September 2025, the overall market totaled 166,854 units, representing a +35.71% growth compared to the same period in 2024.
