German Auto Cable Giant Leoni Invests $68 Million in Morocco Plant to Boost EV Supply Chain

German cable manufacturer LEONI Cable Solutions (LCS) has broken ground on its first production facility in Africa, launching a $68 million investment in Morocco's Atlantic Free Zone in Kenitra as the Kingdom continues to strengthen its position as a global automotive manufacturing hub. Built on a 48,000-square-meter site, the new factory will produce single-core and multi-core automotive cables, as well as data transmission cables for next-generation connected vehicles, supplying major international automotive manufacturers.
